A robotic and virtual testing platform highlighting promise of soft wearable actuators for wrist tremor suppression
Description
Supplementary material to paper, containing:
Matlab_Scripts:
- Force_Data_Analysis.m
- Using this script, we analyzed the forces generated by both the pneumatic and HASEL actuators during generation and suppression of tremor.
- Mechanical_Patient_Data_Analysis.m
- Using this script, we analyzed the tremor amplitudes generated by the mechanical patient for both its characterization (generation of tremor different tremor grades and their suppression using the mechanical patient) and replication of patient tremor using the mechanical patient.
- TremorSignalAnalysis_croppedPatientdata.m
- Using this script, we plotted the raw filtered, rectified, Fast Fourier Transforms, and Spectrograms of the original patient data, and the replicated and suppressed patient data with the mechanical patient.
Exp_Data:
In this folder are all the data acquired from the mechanical patient during each experiment. Each .mat file is a 1x1 Dataset containing 20-25 indices. Each index correlates to either a signal or parameter obtained from the Simulink environment during data collection.
- In 'Pneumatic_Actuators_and_HASEL_Actuators_Data' is the data for the characterization of the mechanical patient with both the Pneumatic and HASEL actuators active.
- In 'Pneumatic_Actuators_Only_Data' is the data for the characterization of the mechanical patient with only the Pneumatic actuators active.
- In 'Replication_and_Suppression_Data' is the replicated and suppressed patient data using the mechanical patient.
Mechanical_Patient_Wiring_Diagram:
The wiring diagram used to connect the mechanical patient to the computer.
