This repository contains two folders, relating to laboratory data and a cellular model described in Beer et al., 2024:



1. experimental data
--------------------
This folder contains three sub-folders with txt-files (for details see Table_1 and Table_S2 in Beer et al., 2024)
PIV: Trajectory metrcis of the saltating grains through the experimental flume, aquired Particle Imaging Velocemetry (PIV) from lateral cameras of the erodible bed experiments EB2-EB5
TLS: 3D point clouds of the foam surface in the experimental flume from the erodible bed experiments EB2-EB5, aquired by Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS). Given are pointclouds for the original scan epoch (epoch0) and the final scan epoch (epochX), respectively, containing XYZ-coordinates, 0.1m roughness and vertical surface change in [m]



2. model code in R
------------------
This folder contains two R-code files (*.R)
"1. DGAM_scripts.R" is a collection of outsourced R-functions loaded into the main R-code of the DGAM-model ("2. DGAM_function.R")
"2. DGAM_function.R" is the main model code of DGAM (Dry Gravel Abrasion Model), a cellular dry grain saltation model for bedrock surface abrasion by saltating grains, developed by Beer et al. (2024)
